But morning reports suggest Newcastle have been approached by a top agent, who claims Carroll is available for £15million plus add-ons.
The Magpies have made no secret of their willingness to bring the forward back to the North East, but would only be prepared to pay as much as £10million for their former No.9.

Arrivé le dernier jour du précédent mercato hivernal à Liverpool, Andy Carroll ne convainc pas chez les Reds (31 matches, 6 buts). Son ancien club, Newcastle, pourrait en profiter selon Metro. Les Magpies, qui avaient vendu Carroll 42 millions d'euros l'an dernier, seraient prêts à mettre 12 millions d'euros pour rapatrier l'international anglais quand Liverpool en demande 18.

Newcastle United will attempt to bring Andy Carroll back to Newcastle United for just £7 million this summer as they insist Liverpool have to be realistic about their asking price for a striker they do not want to keep.
Newcastle will 7 Mio Pfund für ihn bieten - Liverpool will eigentlich 17. Allerdings soll es wohl an Konkurrenten mangeln, sodass Newcastle halt niedrig anfangen kann ...

wer war damals für diesen flopptransfer zuständig? sportdirektor manager oder trainer?? den sollte man sämtliche lizenzen entziehen, nicht mal ein 10 jähriger hobby fifa manager zocker würde so einen transfer tätigen

Newcastle United say they have no interest in re-signing Andy Carroll, according to Sky sources.
West Ham had reportedly agreed a £15m fee with Liverpool for the 24-year-old striker on Tuesday but reports claimed that Newcastle were set to hijack the deal.
