Europa League Playoff Hinspiel in Hütteldorf gegen FCS Bukarest.

This was not a night to be a Villa supporter, crowbared into the corner of a packed-out Gerhard Hanappi stadium. Armed with loudhailers, microphones and never-ending enthusiasm, bare-chested supporters who had taken it upon themselves to MC for the night whipped their fellow fans into a ferment. Das ist doch völlig egal ob jemand jede Woche im Stadion steht und durch halb Europa für den Verein mitreist oder sich die Spiele vor dem TV ansieht. Manche haben Familie, wohnen hunderte KM von Wien entfernt oder haben auch berufliche Verpflichtungen und können somit nicht unter der Woche nach Rumänien fliegen.
Wir sind alle Rapidler und da ändert es auch nichts daran wenn man nur 2-3 mal im Jahr live bei einem Spiel dabei ist.

Die Wortwahl "geistesgestört" war sicher nicht optimal gewählt. Aber dass es total unnötig war in einem internationalen Spiel bei einer Führung gegen einen starken Gegner "Gogo-raus" zu rufen liegt auch auf der Hand. Vor allem wenn man weiß wie schwer unsere Mannschaft mit Verunsicherungen umgehen kann.
