Although Leroy Sané excelled on the wing and Leon Goretzka put on a heroic performance in the middle of the park, it was hat-trick hero Harry Kane that stole the show with three goals at the Westfalenstadion. Which now puts the England international on no less than 15 goals from his first 10 Bundesliga games of the season. 

I expected high things,” Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala said to a group of selected journalists after the Dortmund game that included yet another incredible Harry Kane show in the Bundesliga. “But probably not this high as he delivered so far. Ivan Toney will make his Brentford return against Nottingham Forest on January 20th but speculation persists over his long-term future. With Euro 2024 quickly approaching, Toney will have ambitions of forcing his way back into Gareth Southgate’s plans to provide back-up to Harry Kane. Toney has scored 68 goals in 124 games for Brentford and he highlighted his pedigree by scoring a hat-trick against Southampton Under-23s in a recent B team game.
